My son and I had a wonderful time reading this story together. He is 7 years old and loves to read. He was inspired when he first read this story to draw his own illustrations of the characters, based on the descriptions in the book. I can't wait to show him the actual illustrations in this book, since we read it prior to them being completed! My son really grasped the whole essence of the story and has since continued to ask me if I have any more stories to read to him like this one. Incredible book by a great man! We definitely recommend this book to all young readers!
We all need fairy tales, the young and the old. I was cheered by the story, what more is required.
At the end of each chapter I was anxious to go on to the next chapter.
